The International Company Of The Year Award will be awarded for the first time to an international company in the energy sector, which has stood out during the previous 12 months, and contributed commercially or technically to the advancement of the oil & gas industry in Tanzania.

• Activities – the organisation that made an excellent contribution to the industry in Tanzania and proved to be an industry leader in any specific part of the oil and gas value chain
• Knowledge – through people development, the organisation that expanded knowledge and learning in the commercial or technical aspects of the oil and gas sector

The Tanzanian Company Of The Year Award will be awarded for the first time to a national company that stood out in the previous 12 months and contributed commercially or technically to the advancement of the oil and gas sector:

• Innovation – through business innovation and creativity, the organisation that has made a positive change in the industry
• Activities – the organisation that made an excellent contribution to the industry in Tanzania and proved to be a local leader in any specific part of the oil and gas industry
• Knowledge – through people development, the organisation that expanded knowledge and learning in the business or technical aspects of the oil and gas industry

The Local Content Champion Of The Year Award will go to an individual or a company who stood out for promoting local content initiatives, or actively contributing to knowledge transfer, capacity building and opening up opportunities for locals:

• Championing – ideas and new solutions to ensure local content is a priority and a reality in the energy sector
• Inspiring – a company or individual which through their recent activities promoted local content and inspired others to do the same
• Implementing – a company or individual who implemented specific measures or solutions to promote the advancement of local content and ensure they buy local services and products
