Eng. Joyce Kisamo is currently working as Technical Advisor in the President’s Office - Oil and Gas Advisory Bureau (OGAB), Tanzania.

Before, up to June 2015, Eng. Kisamo served as the Director of Downstream Operations and Director of Marketing and Investments with Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC). She has over 25 years working experience in the Petroleum Industry.  Her experience covers the whole value chain of the petroleum and natural gas development.

Engineer Kisamo is a holder of Masters Degree in Integrated Design of Chemical Plants from the University of Leeds, UK and the Degree in Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.  She has also attended several short courses that granted her specials skills in Engineering Projects Research, Analysis, Appraisal, Design and Development; Projects Monitoring and Evaluation; International Oil & Gas Business Management; Oil and Gas Projects Management; Leadership and Strategy; Oil and Gas Industry Management; Contracts Negotiations; Oil and Gas Contracts Management and Audit and Strategic Oil & Gas Pricing and Forecasting.  She has proven high administrative and managerial ability shown during the implementation of the Natural Gas Processing Plants and Transportation Pipeline from Mtwara and Songo Songo to Dar es Salaam. She is among the design team.

Eng. Kisamo is a member of the Institute of Engineers Tanzania and a Registered Engineer with the Engineering Registration Board of Tanzania. Also, Eng. Joyce Kisamo is a member of the University of Dar es Salaam Council and an external examiner.
